Benchmarking

For performance benchmarking, vehicles are equipped with a comprehensive range of sensors to measure real performance data during defined test procedures. With this extensive sensor instrumentation, the vehicles undergo specific tests on the road, on the test track, on the climatized chassis dynamometer and on the vehicle hub-dyno testbench.

 Our standard benchmarking program includes test modules such as energy consumption, control strategy, powertrain efficiency, charging performance and thermal management. The vast amount of measured data is refined and analyzed by our engineering experts and presented in easy-to-understand graphs and FEV scatter plots so that our customers can quickly understand the results and key findings from our reports. Raw measurement data is also provided for further analysis and simulation.
 

 Our detailed teardown and design benchmarking studies provide complete transparency into the latest vehicle architectures, product designs, features and technical characteristics. Our Benchmarking Academy provides our clients with a unique atmosphere to discuss the latest hardware, generate new design ideas and identify cost reduction measures.
